Dr. Farmer is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon with over two decades of clinical and academic experience. He specializes in podiatric medicine and foot surgery, providing individualized care that is both compassionate and evidence-based.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of New Jersey, Dr. Farmer received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training through Podiatric Primary Medical Residencies (PPMR) at St. Clare's Hospital and Long Beach Medical Center, followed by advanced surgical training through a PSR-12 residency at NYC Health+Hospitals/Metropolitan, in affiliation with NYCPM.
Dr. Farmer is a podiatrist with a proven track record in enhancing patient outcomes through thoughtful patient education, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment. He is skilled in identifying the root causes of podiatric conditions to develop personalized care plans that minimize discomfort and maximize clinical success. His goal is to provide an exceptional patient experience at every level of care.
Since 2001, Dr. Farmer has been serving as a teaching faculty at Virtua Health, where he contributes to the medical and surgical training of podiatry residents. He remains passionate about medical education and advancing the field of podiatric medicine.
Dr. Farmer holds dual board certifications from the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry (ABMSP) in both Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine as well as Foot and Ankle Surgery. He maintains active staff privileges at Virtua Health and Jefferson Health, allowing him to provide seamless, multidisciplinary care across top-tier healthcare systems.
